I have raved on a lot about George Lucas and the whole push toward digital. Now, I pick on Lucas because I feel he has pushed the digital thing too far, too fast. I still believe and I guess hope that film will have a life that is a lot longer than George, I or anyone else could ever imagine. This has been a long time coming. I've wanted to clear up a few things, in a short little space, to make it an easier read.

With all the issues that I have brought up about George Lucas,  I wanted it to be known (which I thought was a given) Mr. Lucas has done amazing things in film, more than I care too go into here, as it would take far too much space to list here. Just “American Graffiti” alone, was good enough to make him someone worth remembering. Then you have Star Wars and all the films that follow, The Raiders trilogy, ILM, THX, Pixar, etc, etc, etc. He has done and continues to do great things in the business. I would love to accomplish one tenth of what he has in film. I guess what I am trying to say here is he wouldn’t be worth bitching about, had he not done so many amazing things. I just had to say this, cause I didn’t want people to think I was out and out bashing good ole George, just a fan who was hoping for something a little different than what I have seen the last few movies. Not that Mr. Lucas or anyone else would give two flying fucks what I think, however I do and I had to make it known.

Now, with that said. George… Please come back to the light. I am not sure what that means exactly. I guess it is something that is personal, between George and George but I have a feeling he knows what that means for him, as you might for yourself. I also have a feeling, that if he does come back to the light, we will all know it. I for one, am looking forward to seeing that light again.
