I just wanted to say a thing about my good friend Matthew Winfield Diederich some knew him as "Starbuck", I knew him as Matt.

Matt passed last year, not too long after I lost my friend Neal. After Neal, I didn't think things could get any worse, I was wrong. As a matter of fact, this is the first time I have really been able to write about Matt since his passing, well, in pubic anyway. Why do I bother to write about him, in public? Because Matt was one of those people you just wanted to know and maybe you can know him a little too.

He was my best boy and I wanted him to remain as such. I wanted to grow in the business with him and take him on some of my adventures and go with him on some of his. I wanted to be friends when we were old and gray, having coffee and still trying to solve the mysteries of universe It was not in the cards but I was glad for the time I got to know him. He changed me and I won't ever quite be the same again. I know I am better for knowing him. I know he is part of me and I know part of me went with him to that final resting place.

I miss my friend and I think about him often.

I love you Matt.
