Holiday greetings to you all, have a wonderful season and:

OK, now that that is out of the way let me keep you updated on a few things. All right, now the last Universal DVD I rented "Seabiscuit" had a little disclaimer on the opening screen. Something to the effect of "you can fast forward through the previews" and that is at least a move in the right direction but not really enough as far as I am concerned.

I'm not sure what brought about this move on Universals part or why they just wouldn't allow you to just hit the menu button or chapter forward and get right to the movie, the reason you bought the damn DVD in the first place. So their attempt to make this right was nice but falls short. When you buy a DVD, it's yours and you should be able to do whatever the hell you want. So I will keep bitching and moaning till this is standard on all DVD's Universal and all those other studios better take note Look for my next batch of Trailer Reviews and for more on these annoying little DVD, money making, ad driven locks on YOUR property.

Here is something for the film crew in us all. Here is a story about a bunch of people not paid for their work on a film. How good things can go bad and a caution for all you crew members out there to protect yourselves.

That is all for now but I will have more on these points and more next time, till then, have a great holiday.
